The Lobby Bar at the Hotel Castro occupies the building’s ground-floor threshold and dissolves the boundary between boisterous 18th Street corridor streetlife, and subdued interior hospitality. The compact and linear layout organizes around a central bar framed by small clusters of perimeter seating. A polished neighborhood elegance prevails with warm woods, brass accents, upholstered banquettes, and softly reflective surfaces that catch the shifting light of the Castro.
