Staypineapple remained in operation throughout its remodel which included 95 guestroom refreshments, the replacement of every guestroom bath, new HVAC systems, and new facilities for the disabled. This last category included installing a gurney-sized elevator in a new shaft to provide an additional safety feature, and operational longevity, for the hotel.

Notable for the ongoing use of this historic resource, the ground floor public spaces of the 1913 Revival-style building are fully reconfigured for a vibrant guest reception and spacious bistro bar.
