MONTEREY TIDES HOTEL

Monterey, CA

Uniquely sited along the Pacific Coast waterfront is Monterey Tides Resort, originally constructed in 1968. Stanton Architecture renovated and converted the hotel into a Marriott Tribute destination. Upgrades include new guestroom finishes, lighting, casegoods and softgoods. In addition to the guestroom scope, the public spaces are reconfigured to accommodate the new Tribute branding, and SA redesigned the hotel’s porte cochere to improve the guest arrival experience. The property also received substantial life safety improvements including the addition of exterior exit stairs.
