San Carlos, CA

Stanton Architecture transformed an idle, former automobile showroom into a state-of-the-art, four-story, 165,000-square-foot laboratory and office building. The project preserves the original grade-level parking and level two slab, with a two-level vertical addition, sweeping roof deck and sleek, modern facade. The expansive five-story atrium is a sun-drenched centerpiece and creates a striking, art-infused entrance for the innovators within. In a nod to its former typology, site parking is achieved with a five-story screened car stacker.
