HOTEL EMBLEM

San Francisco, CA

Stanton Architecture guided the revitalization of the iconic Hotel Emblem in the heart of San Francisco's vibrant Union Square neighborhood. This meticulous historic renovation breathes new life into the 1907 landmark while preserving its architectural legacy.

The hotel's transformation features a reimagined cocktail bar that pays homage to the Beat Generation, offering a unique and stylish experience. All 96 guest rooms were remodeled with modern finishes and mid-century furnishings, creating a comfortable and sophisticated retreat.

The hotel's public spaces have been thoughtfully renewed, including a moody and private rear lounge, an inviting sitting room complete with poetry-inspired art panels, and a cozy reading nook. A new entry sequence, illuminated canopy, and ground floor facade enhance the hotel's curb appeal while respecting its historic context.
